Michael M. Usowski
AUBURN - Michael M. Usowski, a respected Veteran and accomplished electrician, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, at the Commons on St. Anthony. Born in Auburn, NY, he dedicated his life to family and service.
Mike's commitment to his Country was evident through his honorable service in the U.S. Army.
He carried his discipline and work ethic into his career as an Electrician with I.B.E.W Local 840 Geneva, NY, and Local 43 Syracuse, NY, earning the admiration of colleagues.
His community spirit shone in his active involvement with the Swietoniowski-Kopeczek Post 1324, Knights of Columbus Council 203, and many fraternal organizations.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Judith: his son, Michael A. Usowski (Kathryn); cherished grandchildren: Michael David and Thomas; his devoted siblings: Pam O'Mara (Pat) and John (Sandy) Usowski; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Michael's legacy of loyalty, strength, and kindness will live on through the lives of those he touched. He now joins his daughter, Valerie and his parents in eternal rest.
Services and burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Owasco Fire Dept., 7174 Owasco Rd., Auburn, NY in memory of Mr. Usowski.
