Michael Yeomans Obituary

LAKE KATRINE - Michael P. Yeomans, 21, of the Northeast Center for Special Care, Lake Katrine, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002.

Michael was born in Manila, Philippines, and was a year-2000 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He was a former player for the Eastside soccer team under Coach Oscar Vergara. He was a former participant in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program.

A memorial service for Michael is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Alphonsus' Church, Auburn. Interment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marilyn A. Miller and Stephen A. Westlake of Syracuse; his father and stepmother, Prentice E. and Jenni Yeomans of Jacksonville, Fla.; his sister, Elle Yeomans of Boston; his stepsisters, Jean Marie Westlake Spoto and Pamela Westlake of Syracuse; his grandmother, Jean Westlake of Auburn; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those wishing to make contributions in memory of Michael P. Yeomans may make them to either the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Onondaga County, 808 N. McBride St., Syracuse, NY 13203; or The Epilepsy Foundation of Onondaga County, 800 S. Wilbur Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.

Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn.
