MONTEZUMA - Raphael "Ralph" Gannetti, 87, of Montezuma, NY, passed away at his sons home with his family by his side on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1936 to the late Ralph and Helen Cozza Yannotti.
Ralph loved his family and spent whatever time he could with them.
He was union carpenter and self employed for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was very talented artist who loved to paint. He also loved to read books, work on puzzles and travel.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Day Gannetti; daughters: Helen Cozza (Laurel), Sue Gorton (Susan), Katie Clark (Tim), Amy Ankrum, Mackenzie Bridenbecker; sons: Ted Gannetti (Lyn), Ralph Gannetti (Linda), Justin Gannetti (Christina); several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his daughter, Sandi Gannetti Pryloski.

We both belonged to the UBC Local 453 in Auburn and worked several projects together. Always glad to enjoy his company on the job as he passed along his knowledge and love of life. Sorry to read about his passing.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ralph's passing I worked with him at the Auburn Home Depot, He was a great man and a very good friend. He was my Ralphie I would call him so sweet and so smart He taught me alot about hardware that is the dept we both worked, I learned alot about screws, bolts, just about everything from him, he gave me alot of knowledge, I will will always treasure his friendship and will miss him dearly, Rest in Peace my Ralphie.

Sad to hear of Ralph's passing. I was his salesman for years from Erie Materials. Did quite a few projects with Ralph over the years. He was always nice to talk to about anything. He will be missed. RIP my friend.
