I had the privilege of teaching Rob in an upper-level business English class at CCU. Even though it was an on-line class, I remember his dedication to the material we covered. Rob was in touch with me by email every week that semester, asking questions about the assignment so that he could understand and "get it right." I knew that fitness was his interest. He often tailor-made his business writing assignments to aid in his career plans. I don't usually remember on-line students, but Rob stood out. I am so sad that this virus has taken one of the brightest students that I've ever taught. God has a special place for Rob. I will cherish his memory. Dr. Linda Hollandsworth Fry

I remember as a little girl watching my mom chase rainbows-one of those rainbows was Bobby Spano-the only one that ever had a name. I laughed at her silly chase from age 13 never really understanding why she would search for his truck all night and laugh like a child after catching a glimpse of him in a parking lot. It took nearly thirty years for that love to come full circle but it did and I just want to thank you, Bobby, for the years of hapiness you brought to my mother, for the first time in my life I can say I honestly seen her happy and in love. The sparkle in her eyes, and the flame in her heart that only you could ignite is worth far more than words could ever say. We will always miss you and the smiles and laughter you brought into her life. My prayers are with the family through this difficult time, but just remember that he went doing what he loved with the one he loved and now the Lord has him in his hands-forever young.

Like 8mm film, images sputter by in my minds eye and I see Bobby, happy, smiling, having fun.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to our friend's family and fiancee. Bob was more than a refuge collector, he would stop and chat with us bright and early every Monday morning. We could almost set our clocks by his timely arrival. When our dogs would let us know his truck was backing into the driveway we knew it was close to 9:00 am. He will be surely missed. Toni & Becky
