Dear Lord-
Please take good care of Rod.
He was tired and needed a place to rest.
And now he is resting with you.
But be prepared Lord!
Because once he has had a chance to get recharged he will be shaking up heaven like never before!
You see Lord Rod had an inner spark that went out here on earth.
But that inner spark is just waiting to be re-lit by your eternal love.
Lord once he has rested awhile and his spark gets reignited
he will wake the skies with his beautiful and contagious smile,
he will share a story that most definitely will make you laugh,
he will be quick with a joke or two that might even make you blush,
but most importantly Lord watch out for his tricks and punches
he has a few of them up his sleeve!
He is the man.
And we will miss him.
But we all know he is now in a better place.
He is at peace with all
and
he is with all who love him.
Rod we will all be waiting to see you again-
And don't forget "We Love You"
Always and always your sister Becky

Rod was a dear man that I will always remember. I met him about 20 years ago when he drove his big brown van...the trademark of his hard work. He was as generous in work as he was with his friendship. He will be missed by many.

Dad,
You always had a smile for everybody to see. Although our paths may not
have always been together, I learned more than I could ever thank you
for teaching me. I will remember the good times and the many laughs we
had together. Your grandchildren did not have the opportunity to know
you like i did. I'll make sure to tell them the great person you really
were. Say hello to all your friends and relatives that went before you.
Especially, give Mom a big hug and a kiss from me and your
grandchildren. We will all miss you very much. Thanks for everything
Dad! Your the best. Love,
Chris

Chris,
I was so sorry to hear from Karen, about your Dad. I cannot imagine what you must be going through but I pray that you will stay strong and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of your Dad and Mom, from their wedding day, to your birth, to playing football on Curtis Place. I wish I could ease some of what you must be feeling but since I cannot, I hope it helps to know you are loved and you are a good man and I am sorry you have to face another loss.
Love you,
Debbie (still wearing Grandma Twomey's tablecloth!)

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
