To the DiFabio family, Sam was, as you know, a truly dedicated family man. I will pray for him in my daily Rosary. I enjoyed serving in the Owasco Fire Department with him, and seeing him at Sacred Heart Church during the nine years that we lived in Owasco. He has left his mark in the community and will be fondly remembered by one and all. Rest assured, his soul has been welcomed into the Heaven we all pray for and believe in.

Sam, Jr. & Family,
Sam, I went to school with you. I know you must remember me. After I posted my first message a lot of memories about Sam, Sr. (your dad) came flooding back to me. I remember going into Red Star to visit my dad and seeing Sam. The first words out of his mouth would be, "Let me find Ernie for you." and then he'd page him and say. "carol's here."It was like walking into a family (that's how Sam made me feel). When he worked at the Owasco Fire Dept., dad and I would go visit him. Sam put me in the seat of a fire truck when I was little and I remember the thrill I had sitting in that fire truck. Sam would call dad and ask him about different trucks to purchase for fire chief. I can remember a few times going to Sam's house and being welcomed like we were family. These are just some of the good times that I have cherished over the years along with all the 4th of July chicken dinner/field days at the fire dept. I'm sure that a lot of people are sharing memories of Sam with you at this time. I just wanted to share some of my fond memories of Sam. To Sam, Jr.- I also remember a lot of memories at Owasco Elementary school that you and I shared. If you want to contact me, dad still lives in the same house, call and he'll give you my address.
Love to family,
