I was so very sorry to read of Stosh's passing. I formerly worked at Mercy Rehab and he also worked there for a time. His musical talents were always much appreciated. He was a lovely gentle man who was kind to all. I know he will be missed.

To all of the family, there are no words that I can express of the passing of Stash, we as familys were very close in my younger years, and I sat with Helen many nights while she did her ironing and smoking her camels. We lived a house apart from one another for years, Stash also walked my kids to school for me , I had a special place in my heart for Stash,Good Bless you all , think of you all often - mostly with Im on cottage st.bargain center, stamp factory ans many moreplaces & peolpe. My sincere condolences to the entire Sofinsky family. Although I only met Stosh a few times I found him to be a true gentleman and I will certainly miss him. My apologies for not attending the wake and funeral-- I was unaware of Stosh's passing as I was attending the services for my friend Bill Komanecky's wake and funeral---he was my colleage at CCC for 40 years and when he passed unexpectedly last week the entire faculty was in shock. I hope you will understand.

Sincerely,

Peter L. Petrosino

I am terribly saddened at the death of my dear friend Stosh, and will remember him with each passing day. As friends and family will remember Stosh in unique ways...I will remember him as a good neighbor while living on Perrine St., and through the unusual friendship of our pets…his dog "Blue" and my cat "Tom".

The two did not discriminate or judge as they rested together under a shade tree near our houses...not a harsh bark or hiss. They treated one another equally; like friends...as Stosh did to all he encountered. There was seldom a harmful word from Stosh, only kindness, generosity, and humor that everyone welcomed. I will miss him and send my love to his family, and to my friends in Auburn.
