Stephen R. Johnson

AUBURN - Stephen R. Johnson, 24, formerly of Auburn, died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 in Harpursville. Stephen was born in Rochester on Jan. 23, 1986. He was the son of Stuart W. Johnson of Tennessee, and Rebecca Neary Johnson of Auburn. Most recently he had been employed in farming in the Binghamton area and had worked as a roofer with Hemlock Construction. Stephen loved computers and was a 'computer genius' who had worked as a self-employed A+ Certified Computer Repair Technician. In addition to his mother and father, Stephen is survived by 10 sisters, Michelle (Corey) Kaylor, of Utah, Christina Johnson, of Rochester, Sarah (Thomas) Halpin, Angela, Rachel, Bethany, Charity, Tabitha, Priscilla and Hadassah Johnson, all of Auburn; a niece, Madeleine Kaylor; nephew, Jacobi Kaylor; several aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, in the Second Baptist Church, North Herman Avenue, Auburn.
