Taylor Denson Obituary

AUBURN < Taylor Louise Denson, 12, of 69 N. Fulton St., died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, in the Upstate Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a sledding accident on Wescott Reservoir in Syracuse. She was a life resident of Auburn and a student at East Middle School. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Clay, and now a member of the Auburn Assembly of God Church on East Genesee Street Road, where she was active in MPACT Girls Ministry, working with the youth of her church. Taylor enjoyed fun times with her many friends and loved doing arts and crafts. Most of all, her first love was singing and dancing and enjoying her time with her caring family. She is survived by her parents, Timothy and Theresa Wenzel Denson; a sister, Tami; a brother, Trevor; and her paternal grandmother, Patricia Denson. Friends are invited to join the family 11 a.m. Saturday for services that will be conducted in the Auburn Alliance Church, North Seward Avenue, Auburn, with the Rev. Joshua M. Czyz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, at the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., Auburn. This beautiful young lady"s parents and siblings were sure that because Taylor had so much love for life and people, that she would want to give of herself to help anyone. Because of this, in her death, Taylor donated her organs so that others may live. So they ask you now to kindly donate, in memory of Taylor, to Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network, Corporate Woods of Brighton, Building 30, Suite 220, Rochester, NY 14623. Dear Denson Family, I'm sorry I don't know your family but my heart is with you all in your time of struggle. I was near that awful place not to long ago myself and God must have had other plans for my son because he is here with me and not with Him right now. My heart breaks for you and what what your going through. Know that in the end you will see Taylor again, and she will always be watching over you all. I know these are only words but maybe one day you'll find some comfort in them. She is where we all wish to be and someday when our journey here ends we will be in Heaven together, maybe meeting for the first time or saying hello again to a missed loved one! Make Taylor proud. Do the best you can and may God bless your family and keep you safe till your time comes to be together again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The Denson's,
My son was in Taylors classes.
You have truely been bless with a wonderful child that our Lord has called upon for a much bigger task than we will know! It sounds like she has started it here on the day she left all of you to go to him! But I also know she will be here with you each and everyday you will notice her smell, hear her laugh or singing, the lights will flicker and she will be near. She is your Guardian Angel. SO always be on the look out for signs she will give you! God Blessed Taylor and God Bless All Of you! The Lawrence Family

I do not know your family or Taylor, but she sounds like an amazing fun loving girl. Her act of kindness will live on in others forever. But she will also live on in spirit.
Whenever there is a rainbow- know that she is there
When a dragon fly is buzzing around you-know that she is there
The first snowfall of the season-know she is there
When you feel your world is falling apart without her- know she is there
When you see a shooting star- know she is there
Hopefully it will make you smile a little knowing that she is an angel that will present herself in many different forms.
Know that she is always with you, walking beside you.

To all who have taken the time to make an entry in Taylor's guest book, we say a big THANK YOU!! We appreciate your comments and feel your love and support. Taylor was a very loving little girl that wanted everyone to be happy. We know she is in Heaven and that is what helps us to be strong when reality creaps in. We have not only our faith, but the love from all of you out there and your support of all kinds. We are fortunate enough to have wonderful memories of her smile that would light up a room, her snuggles, her laughter and singing and all the little things that made her Taylor. God bless you all and thank you. We look forward to seeing more entries-your support and kind words lift us up. With love, the Denson family...

The Denson Family,

We didn't know Taylor, but your story has tugged at our hearts. Judging from all the entries in this guest book, Taylor touched many people in the short span of her life. That's all most of us can hope for in this life. To make a difference in the lives of others. Obviously, she did that. That's something you, as parents, should be very proud of. May the love and peace of our Savior comfort you in this difficult time.

January 19, 2009

I am thinking of your family and praying that you will find comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and was able to help others.

The Denson Family-
I am very sorry for your loss. It must be very hard for you. I can not imagine how you must feel. You were not doing anything different than any of the other parents in the world by takeing her to have fun. Dont punch your selfs in the face because you think it is your fault. God needed another angel And he picked Taylor. Please accept my condsolences. You are all in my prayers.

I did not know Taylor...have never met you. But God's people have surrounded your family with prayer. I lost my husband on 11/29...I could not even imagine losing a child. I do know that God's grace will uphold you and sustain you the same as He has done for me. I will continue to pray for you...she sits with her savior now. Praise God for that.

Mr & Mrs Denson.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. As parents ourselves we understand the unbearable pain you both must be going through. We also lost 2 of our children and its the worst thing that any parent can go through. A parent shouldn't have to bury a child but vise-versa. I would also like to mention that I have a cousin in Long Island New York that was waiting for a liver transplant. She recieved Taylors liver this week. We can't thank you enough for the gift of life. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Such love of life cannot so quickly fade
Or vanish like a vapor in the wind.
For it was of a lasting pleasure made,

And fierce, fierce joy too bright to turn to shade,
A sun no single moment can rescind.
Such love of life cannot so quickly fade

Or vanish from the fields on which it played
These many years so fortunate and kind.
For it was of a lasting pleasure made,

Nor can it be by time or space betrayed,
As music is immortal in the mind.
Such love of life cannot so quickly fade

Or vanish as the yearning years invade,
Sweeping 'cross the will unknowing, blind.
For it was of a lasting pleasure made,

Singing through the silence unafraid,
In beauty still sustained our hearts combined.
Such love of life cannot so quickly fade,
For it was of a lasting pleasure made.
-unknown

I am deeply sorry for your loss and hope for nothing but the best for you and for your family. Although. I never knew taylor words cannot describe the sympathy i have for you and your family.

January 17, 2009

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Denson:

Please accept our condolences to you & your family in the tragic loss of your beautiful & caring daughter, Taylor Louise. And, we wish to thank you & your family in caring for others by having your daughter’s organs donated to help others live. Through the love & kindness of others, like you, our sister who has diabetes, received a kidney donation in 1996 from a young man who passed away in an auto accident. And, as a result of his family’s care & concern for others, our sister has been helped to live for these past 13 years. So, your beautiful Taylor will now help & continue to care for others through your kind & loving decision to donate her organs for the needs of others. Thank you for gracious kindness for doing so & our prayers will be with you-all during this difficult time & for the future.

Sincerely

DAVE NETTLE

My Dearest Theresa and Family,
I can't imagine the incredible pain that you are experiencing with the loss of your little girl. Your loss hit close to home as my own daughter is close to Taylor's age. She had a hard time grasping Taylor's loss, as she remembers Taylor from school and what a great friend Taylor was to everyone. Though finding comforting words for you is difficult, I hope you find some peace in the awesome gift you gave in donating Taylor's organs so others can live.
What a tribute to your Taylor. Out of an awful tragedy...LIFE!!
May you remember her smiles and laughter, and find peace in Taylor's gifts.
Our Hearts and prayers go out to you!!
Love,

January 16, 2009

I do not know anyone in the Denson family but I felt as a mother of four and a sister who was left behind after my sister died I had to write and tell you that my entire family and I have not stopped praying for you during this time. We will continue to pray for you for one whole year as we always do for the loved ones left behind. To her parents I am so glad that you have other children to keep you going and who still need you. When my sister died I was so thankful for my children because they forced me out of bed each day and kept me going. I still had to take care of them and myself so that I would be there for them. I hope that all of these entries help you while you carry this cross. May God bless you and put his arms around you every day.

My heart was sick when I heard the news about Taylor. I was Taylor's fifth grade teacher last year. I feel that I have been truly blessed to have spent an entire year working with and getting to know this fine young lady. There will never be a time that I think of "Miss Taylor" without a smile on my face. She faced each day with such determination and enthusiasm. Her energy was refreshing. Taylor's death has saddened so many, but her life lives on in so many. Find comfort in knowing that you, her family, are an inspiration to all. Please know that my thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Her goodness is a true reflection of all of you. God bless you all.

Dear Denson Family,

My heart is broken for you and your family. It is a terrible tragedy that someone so young and vibrant is taken away so young. From what I have seen, it appears your family has tremendous faith and a large support network. This will be of tremendous help to you in the near future, as my wife and I have learned recently, with the death of our 13 year old son Zachary, who passed away 12/26/08 after a courageous battle with cancer. It appears that your daughter also made a tremendous impact on others and she will be sorely missed. Rejoice in the comfort that she is resting in the arms of her Saviour. My wife and I wish you peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead. God Bless!!

To the family of Taylor,
I do not know any of you, but I wanted to remind you, you now have a guardian angel watching over you from heaven.
Not only now as you grieve, but always.
Keep you memories close so you may always cherish them, and use them to pull strength from.
I also want to commend you for making the decision to donate her organs. That is not only allowing other people to live, but helping to keep her legacy alive.
Hold each other close, and remember she is still with you.

A caring stranger

January 15, 2009

She was in our prayers from the moment we heard
This wonderful sweet Angel, her last day on Earth
The outpouring of love is only because
This one sweet child was sent from Above
She touched us all, both near and afar
Her gifts never ending, forever in our hearts.
She gave of herself, all truth and all heart
She always will be here, alive in our hearts
So many of us she has touched these past days
Dozens more, from the Gift she has made
Your wonderful sweet Taylor will live on and on
In those she has given a chance to move on.

From a stranger who has been touched by this wondeful young girl.

Taylor was a pure Angel, a pleasure to know. The kind of friend you want your child to have. She always had a beautiful smile on her face & kind words for everyone. Always well mannered & polite. I will truely miss seeing her on her bike rides around the block, she always stopped to say hello to Gracie & I. She was a Great friend to Annie. I am truely saddened by this, Our entire house hold has been affected by this loss. Taylor will always be in my heart & prayers. My deepest, hearfelt sympathy goes out to your entire family. We love & miss Taylor very much. XOXOXO

Dear Denson Family, There are no words to express our heartfelt sympathy to your family. May it comfort you knowing that our whole community is praying for you. Our son Mitchell attended Herman Ave and East Middle with Taylor. She sat behind him in the third grade and they always giggled together. I can remember her helping me with the room party. She was so polite and offered to help me pass out the goodies to the other students. She was so adorable and had an excellent personality. Your in our thoughts. Fondly, Michelle and Mitchell Hogan

Theresa and family, I was absolutely devastated and saddened for you when my
mom told me what happed to Taylor. I am so sorry for your loss. Bless you for the decision to donate Taylor's organs so that others may live.I hope that gives you some comfort and peace knowing she will have helped some other child or person, who without Taylor may not have
survived. It sounds like Taylor would have wanted that. Again, I am so deeply sorry for your loss and I hope you find the strength to move on after this tragedy. You're in my thoughts
