Terry L. Green
Aug. 27, 1960 - Feb. 18, 2024
NILES - Terry L. Green, 63, of Twelve Corners Road, in Niles, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, after a long battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. Mom fought up until the last moments and passed away, surrounded by her loving husband and children after her body could take no more.
Terry was born in Auburn on August 27, 1960 to William, Sr. and Patricia Powers (Murphy). She grew up on Twelve Corners Road with her brothers and sisters, graduating from Moravia Central School in 1978.
Terry was married October 29, 1977 to Richard A. Green of Sempronius. Terry and Richard were inseparable for 46 wonderful years.
Terry retired in 2018 from the Auburn Federal Credit Union, after working in banking and serving the community for 25+ years.
Anyone that knew mom would tell you the caring, giving, and loving person she was. She was always the first to offer a hand, a hot meal, a ride, or just a simple hug to those in need. She will be remembered for the love she gave and everyone she touched. Mom loved to garden, read, spend time with her family especially her granddaughters and just enjoy life.
She is survived by her loving and supportive family: daughter, Kimberly Green (Richard Badman); son, Dirk Green; and loving husband, Richard Green; granddaughters: Mackenzie and Gracie Badman, who she loved with everything she had; her sisters: Jacqueline Saville of Genoa, Kelly Hatfield of Syracuse; and brothers: William (Cindy) Powers, Jr. of VA, Timothy (Bonnie) Powers of Niles; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Terry was predeceased by her father and mother, in-laws, William and Betty Green, sister, Deborah Stanton, her nephew, Jeremiah Powers, and her favorite aunt, Joyce and uncle, Gene.

My sincere condolences go out to the entire Green Family on the passing of a wonderful woman. I only knew Terry through the Credit Union but I can't tell you how many times Terry helped me and my family get loans and financial advice. What a super sweet and caring person she was! My heart sank seeing this announcement. May Almighty God give her the true peace and love she deserves and May her memory be eternal.

So sorry to hear about Terry´s death. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. In her capacity at Auburn Federal Credit Union her knowledge about personal finances was invaluable, as was her advice. Every time I saw her she always inquired about how my family was doing. She will be missed by many, but her passing means she is no longer in pain. Rip, Terry. My condolences to her family.
