Timothy Nowey Obituary

JORDAN - Timothy Gerard Nowey, 67, of Jordan, NY, passed away on October 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Tim worked as a CAD Draftsman for many years before retiring in 2023.
Tim loved all animals and birds, and enjoyed providing a nice habitat for them around his home. He also had a special bond with his cats. Tim enjoyed his Harley, metal work, tractors, and photography. He loved all time spent with his wife, Darlene, whether traveling or relaxing at home by the pond.
Survived by his wife, of 28 years, Darlene (Duger) Nowey; his mother, Rosemarie Nowey; children, Jennie (Joe) Tratt, Adam (Annie) Van Horn, Duane (Amy) Van Horn, Harold (Loretta) Van Horn; grandchildren, Max, Ashley, Joseph, Jessy, Tye, Shelby, Forest, Shawn, Grace, Gavin, Jewel, Malena, Truman, Hannah, Steen, Rane, Joad; great-grandchildren, Xaidon, Everleigh, Ezra; and a nephew, Johnathan. Predeceased by his father, Peter Nowey; brother, Paul Nowey; baby brother, Nowey; and great-grandson, Tye, Jr.
Funeral services private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CNY Cat Coalition or the Jordan Ambulance Fund.

Darlene and family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Tim's passing. He was a wonderful man and we enjoyed working with him for so many years. Every time we had a chance to talk, it would inevitably become one about family and what a pleasure it was to have grandchildren. Tim loved his family dearly and we hope that will bring you some sort of comfort to reduce the immense sorrow in your hearts.
