Alvin Hagin Obituary

Truck driver HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Alvin Zine Hagin of Whittier Place, Hephzibah, entered into rest Thursday, April 17, 2003, in Bamberg County. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at 4 p.m. at First Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Willie L. James officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Hagin, a native of Savannah, was a graduate of Effingham County High School. He was employed as a truck drive with N. W. White Transport Company and was also a chef. Survivors are his wife, LaShondra Hagin; three daughters, Summer Hagin, Diona Hagin, Zoria Hagin, Hephzibah; mother, Mary Hagin, Clyo, Ga.; two sisters, Mary (Albert) Foard, Springfield, Ga., Rita (Stephen) Lawrence, Savannah; five brothers, Freddie (Tina) Hagin, Augusta, Patrick Hagin, Sylvania, Walter (Annette) Howard, Newington, Willie Howard, Elston (Lula) Howard, Cylo, Ga.; mother-in-law, Georgean Holloway, St. Petersburg, Fla.; father-in-law, Perry Lyons, Huntsville, Ala.; ten nieces; ten nephews; great nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and other relatives. Williams Funeral Home; 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah.
