SPARTA, Ga. - Mrs. Annie Mary Brookins, 80, of 67 Burnett Street, Sparta, Georgia died May 26, 2009 at her Sparta residence. She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Eloise Moss, Bonnie Hillman an Jeanette Birston all of Sparta, Georgia, Louise Turner of Augusta, Georgia and Freddie Brookins of Sparta, Georgia; two brothers, Mariod Gilbert of Philadelphia, PA and Forest Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Archer Grove Baptist Church in Sparta, Georgia with burial in church cemetery.
