Aubrey Prince Obituary
Devoted to God, his family, friends and community, Aubrey served for 33 years as Fire Chief of the Parksville Fire Department and was one of the first members of the McCormick County 1st Responders. Parksville Baptist Church was his home church for 63 years. Aubrey was known to many as Pop, Chief, Uncle, Little Snake, Castro, Sam, Deacon, etc. He was loved and respected by all.
Aubrey is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon Prince; two children, Brian Prince (April) and Ashley Prince Creswell (Chad); two grandchildren, Britt and Baylen Creswell; one sister, Diane Minton and her husband, Rusty, father and mother-in-law, Gerald Britt and the late Earlene, brother-in-law's, Kenneth Britt and his wife, Sandy, Neil Britt and Tony Britt and his wife, Anita, special brother-in-law, Chris Hendrix, sister-in-law's, Tina Hendrix and To-nya Brown, special sister-in-law, Wendy Hill and special friends, Chris and Christina Doolittle.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at his home, 252 Upper Mill Rd., Parksville.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 on "Pop's Hill" at 252 Upper Mill Rd., Parksville.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made, in memory of Aubrey Prince, to the McCormick County Emergency Services, PO Box 1140, McCormick, SC 29835.

This world is a sadder place with the loss of Aubrey. I worked with him for 20 plus years, he was a good friend who would listen to all your problems and offer the best advice he could . I just thought he would always be there. I am so sorry for his family he talked about each and every one of you and loved you all dearly.
