Barbara Miller Obituary

CLEARWATER, S.C. - Entered into rest, February 8, 2006, Mrs. Barbara Sumner Miller, of Clearwater, SC. Miss Miller was born in Chicago, IL to the late Alfred and Julia Kate Miller. She was a retired secretary and a WW II veteran having served in the US Army. Surviving are a sister, Betty Sperry; a sister-in-law, Helen Miller; four nephews, two nieces, and a special friend, Brenda Mathis. Ms Miller was such a sweet person. From time to time I passed her on the road going to my home and she always waived. She had so much energy for her age. May God bless her and take her into his arms. I will miss her as a distant friend and neighbor.

I WATCHED HER WALK EVERYDAY AND JUST HOPED I WOULD HAVE THAT KIND OF ENGERY OR JUST HALF WHEN I GOT HER AGE. I WILL MISS SEEING HER WALK.

I met Barbara about a year ago. Several times I gave her a ride home from the grocery store. I had told her to please call me and I would be glad to give her a ride to the store.She even wrote a letter of thanks to me for wanting to help her. I really enjoyed talking with her and found her to be very smart and interesting. I am so sorry for the tragic way her life ended. I talked with her several times about trusting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was an amazing person to be so active at 90. I will miss her.
