Bennie Clifton Davis

MONETTA, S.C. - Mr. Bennie Clifton Davis, age 64, of Alberta Peach Lane, Monetta, S.C. died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be announced by Jackson- Brooks Funeral Home, Aiken. Mr. Davis was a native of Edgefield, and lived in Aiken most of his life. He was a member of Rossa Spring Baptist Church in Johnston, and was a retired employee from United Merchant Refinishing Plant in Clearwater. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Mae Davis, Aiken; his mother, Ozella Jones, Ridge Spring; two daughters, Marilyn G. East and Andrea L. Simmons, both of Aiken; three sons, Ralph Davis, Monetta, Bennie C. Davis, Jr., Savannah, and Derrick Davis, Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Alberta Steele, and Dorothy Luchie, both of Aiken, Connie Davis, Myrtle Beach, and Ellen McManus, Ridge Spring; three brothers, James Davis, and Matthew Jones, both of Washington, D.C. and Major Jones, Johnston.
