Kimbrel Family: I am sorry about Danny. I have great memories of Danny from being around him in Thomson, Augusta, and Athens. He had a great sense of humor and I always had a great time being around him. After losing my mother to cancer recently, I really sympathize with your pain. Again, I am sorry about the death of Danny.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I was in Danny's graduation class in 1968 from Thomson High School. I will always have fond memories of his sense of humor and wit. I had always hoped to see him at one of the class reunions, but he was never there when I was there. I am extremely saddened by this news. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dearest Family Members, I have been so saddened to hear about Danny, a friend since "Miss Lively's Kindergarten". I was a fellow Eagle Scout and THS Bulldog State Champ with him. This represents many a campout and Friday night football game! One highlight of my life was visiting Mr. Monore Kimbrell at the Federal Reserve Bank, when all of us were Pages in the Georgia Senate, and met Governor Carl Sanders as well. As a Baptist minister, I have preached that story many times from this perspecitve. Danny came running into the paneled hallowed halls of that CEO's office, calling Daddy, Daddy. This was the only reason that any of the rest of us had entrance or an introduction to being in his father's presence. Of course, this is exactly what Jesus Christ has done for Danny and all of us who trust in Him. Jesus, God's own Son, introduces us to the Heavenly Father and ushers us into His presence. Be assured this is exactly where your loving husband and dear father, and our beloved friend is now, in God's everrlating arms. Even though I have not had to opportunity to get to know you through the years, I want you to know that I love you all, because I loved Danny. From an old fishing buddy, my prayers will go with Lane and the
boys. He was a great friend and I will miss him. I will never forget all the good times Danny and I had fishing at Thomson Oak Flooring. I will never forget him coming to see me in the hospital when I had cancer, stroke and stomach surgery and especially the time that he would not help me catch the big 12 lb. catfish right after I had my stroke. He and Rusty sat on the porch laughing at me while I was hollering for help to get the fish out of the pond. He was making sure that I learned how to fish again after my stroke. I will never forget Danny and the good times we had fishing and cooking at the pond. Our memories will make sure that he is never really gone.

I was saddened to hear that yet another Kimbrel who was close to the Fed family had passed away. Danny was just a terrific guy who had suffered so much pain over the years. Now he's finally at peace. May the Kimbrel family have tons of memories to forever hold him close to their hearts

To Lane and the Boys,
I shall cherish my many memories of Danny, a true friend. He was always there to hear concerns and give direction. I reflect on the memories of the LONG fishing trip at Hilton Head, fishing at Destin, the rafting at Vale, the fishing at the Thomson lake, and even the inspections at Thomson.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Memories will keep Danny with us and his influence in our lives. Mickey Moore, NOFMA
