I want you to know that I appreciate you. You are an "angel" to me. You gave so much of yourself to your family. I feel so blessed to have had such a kind, precious, and loving Mother from GOD for you loved me/us for who we were and are. There is no wonder that GOD plucked a beautiful person, August 14, 2019, from HIS garden and gave you the "wings of an angel" so you could fly into HIS Kingdom. You are now seated at the right hand of the FATHER for you have done what HE asked. Thank you God for my/our Mother. Amen! Amen! Amen!

Mom:
I love, miss, think of you often, and thank you for the times you may have needed something for yourself but sacrificed it for me or my siblings; for the times when I or my siblings were sick and you watched over us until we were well; for the countless times you prepared meals that we most certainly enjoyed; for your unselfish, patience in working with eight personalities (my siblings and I) that probably took the patience of Job; for teaching us to have respect for others and ourselves; for bringing us up in the church so we could know who GOD is; for praying for me/us and for teaching us to pray in good times and times not so good; for teaching us to believe, have faith and to love everybody, even our foes. What a beautiful woman . . . What a "Mother".

Thinking of my dear mom this morning. I am eternally grateful to you Lord Jesus for her, dad, Ralph and Gertrude. Miss them all so much, but Lord, You have been so gracious to me. Each year the pain of the loss of them is but a distant memory but the love, teachings and life we shared is never forgotten. Thank you Lord for all you deposited in their lives to impart to me. I received it with much gratitude.

Mom,
It is hard for me to believe that today, August 14, 2019, you left us to sit at the right of GOD.
I can not express in words how much I miss you, dad, Ralph, Sweetie and Q. My life is not the same without you all. Sometimes when there is news-good or bad-I want to pick up the phone and talk to you. Then I say to myself, "you cannot call, but you can speak to her with your heart and mind."
Thank you mom for all that you and dad did to help make my life and my siblings lives comfortable. I am blessed and most appreciative for you took good care of us.
The pain of losing you has not gone away, but I have learned to accept what is. I give "thanks" to God to have had you as my MOTHER. You are my guardian angel.

I still think of mom, dad and Aunt Gertrude everyday. The pain of their departure has been replaced by the gift of peace from God and the memories of the things they imparted in our lives. I miss sharing a funny story with mom, or Gertrude and dad telling me about our family history. I am so grateful for them and pray that I will leave a good deposit in the earth to affect the lives of others in a good way as they have for us.

This is the first year that we will experience Mother's Day without you Mom. This Mother's Day feels like a very lonely day, but I am hopeful that as time goes on it will get better. Mom, you were the very first love in or lives and you proved that a mother's love has no limits and begins at conception and lasts throughout our entire lives. You gifted us with the full understanding of love. You gave us our first smile, our first kiss, and you always made us feel good by simply calling our names. Our little hidden secret: we know that you were not perfect, but God made you perfect for us. We cherish the life lessons of love that you gave to us and we thank God for your life that you shared with us. We are most grateful for your unconditional love. Thank God that you were the mother that God called you out to be. We know that without you, there would have never been us. Thank you for being our first love Mom.
