Cathy Litzinger Rumbin

GROVETOWN, Ga. - Cathy Litzinger Rumbin, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Wadsworth Court, Grovetown, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John Edward Rumbin who died April 7, 2003 and daughter of the late Heinrich and Marie Muller Litzinger. She was born December 7, 1926 in Germany. She was a former employee with the Post Exchange in Fort Gordon, and a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Augusta. She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Vallance and her husband, Dr. Steven R. Vallance of Lawrenceburg; a grandson,, William L. Ogletree II of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Christine Rashid of Florida, Maria Fitzner and Anneliese Schnell, both of Germany. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark John Rumbin. Contributions are suggested to the St. Joseph Hospice in Augusta. No services are scheduled.
