Cecil D. Haynie Sr.

Cecil Haynie Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Cecil D. Haynie, Sr. of Augusta, entered into rest on November 4, 2005 at University Hospital. He was survived by his wife, Linda Haynie of 42 years. He had three sons, Cecil (David) Haynie, Jr., Patrick L. Haynie and Charles Patrick Haynie. He also had two grandsons and two granddaughters; his mother, Janie Mae Haynie; three sisters, Joyce Gregory, Shirley Bethune and Gail Haynie; a brother, Carroll Haynie; several beloved nieces and nephews. Cecil was born in Augusta and was well know in the industrial business in the Southeast for the past 20 years. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Coleman officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Joseph Anderson, Scott Zimmerman, Larry Butler, Russell James, John Hopkins and Malcolm Wallen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd., Martinez, Ga. 863-6747.

I am so sorry to hear of Cecil's passing. I met him years ago when I first started in the industrial supply business, and found him to be both a welcome customer as well as a friendly competitor. He will be missed as his work ethic and his unique personality made him a friend to all. God Bless all the family from your friends at Richmond Supply
