It sadden my heart to see Contessa's picture in the obituary section this morining. I had seen her at bingo a few months ago and we had a chance to chat. My sister and I knew her from bingo and she has always been an outgoing and fun person. She always had a smile on her face and loved to "cut up!". We shared many good nights at Ft. Gordon, she will be truley missed. Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

To the family of Tessa:
I extend my condolences. I am grieving along with you because Tessa will truly be missed. She was such a comical person with a sweet spirit. No matter whenever we saw each other her demeanor was always the same. She never changed--always smiling, laughing, and talking.
It is sad that Tessa Bug will no longer be amongst us physically, but please take comfort in knowing that she is amongst us spiritually and figuatively. When you smell the fresh dew on a melancholy day, that's Tessa. When you feel the wind blow, that's Tessa. When you are all alone and hear the faint sound of footsteps, that's Tessa. When you turn because you thought you saw something, that's Tessa. Tessa will still be among you because she has a new job to do. Tessa is now your guardian angel. She has been given her wings to soar. She is soaring above you. Guiding you every step of the way.
May God bless and keep you is my prayer.

A Reminiscence
YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.
May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.
Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;
To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.
