The Augusta Chronicle-October 23, 2014 AUGUSTA, Ga. - On Sunday, October 5, 2014, the Lord called home one of his good and faithful servants, Reverend Dr. Donald Clay. Donald was an accomplished veteran of the Unites States Army, retiree of civil service, and an ordained minister who founded Christian Alliance Ministry, Interfaith Ministry, and Guiding Light Christian Church. In addition to his career achievements, Donald was an avid scholar of business and theology. Those closest he leaves behind will never forget the kindness, generous, and unwavering love he blessed them with every day. They include his loving and devoted daughter, Sirintorn D. Clay, Denver, CO; his son, Donald J. (Gayle) Clay, San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Carissa N. Clay and Caidon J. Clay, San Diego, CA; and his long-time loving and devoted friend, Marjorie Hudson, Augusta. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dr. Clay, you will be missed my brother, and our condolences, and prayers go to your family from Rev. and Dr. Anthony Ray. I will always remember my mentor, colleague, and most importantly my friend. I will miss you, but I know we will see each other again as we always use to say; on the other side.
