Betty, Marion and April,
I was so sorry to hear of Leroy's passing. I have enjoyed knowing him and each of you over the years. When I returned to the workforce in November of 2002, my path crossed with his again each month at the ESF8 meeting where he enjoyed a Smoak's cinnamon roll and coffee. May your memories of him be of comfort during this time.
Fondly, Cyd Masters

It was an honor for me to have known Mr. Sims for the last 17 years. He was a caring and compassionate professional man. Richmond County was blessed to have had him as the coroner. He will truly be missed.

I've known Leroy since I started in EMS in the late 70's. I've watched and admired the way he has dealt with families during very bad times. I also have had the personal experience of Leroy making a horrible situation a bearable one. He was loved, admired and respected by many. He is going to be missed!
