Ellen Della-Giustina Obituary

Entered into rest Saturday, October 27, 2018, Mrs. Ellen Della-Giustina, 97, loving wife of the late Dr. Victor Emillo Della-Giustina.

Ellen was formerly a member of Sacred Heart then St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. She was a member of Magnolia Garden Club, Faculty Wives Group at MCG, Rocking Baby Grandma in the Neonatal Center at MCG, Caledonian Society, and a Pink Lady. Ellen loved to travel especially back to her native Scotland.

Family members include her children: Catherine Della-Giustina, Sandra Forrest (Gary), Vicky Sullivan (Dan), and Vic D. Giustina (Kelly); grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Catherine Della-Giustina of Augusta, Georgia, and her son Peter Jason; Sandra (Gary) Forrest of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and their children Sarah (Rob and children Della and Morgan) and Allison (Josh) Parrill; Vicky (Daniel) Sullivan of Kiawah Island, South Carolina, and their children Daniel (Johanna) and daughter Charlotte) and Conor (Cara) Sullivan; and Victor (Kelly) Giustina of Atlanta, Georgia and their children William and Ashlyn.

The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice, Connie Terry, and Deidre Scott for their exceptional care and a special thanks to Tammy Jones for her devoted service.

The funeral Mass will be private. Pallbearers will be Daniel Joseph Sullivan, IV, Conor Donald Sullivan, Dr. Gary Forrest, Daniel Joseph Sullivan, III, and William Fullerton Giustina.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or "Dentists for Della", in care of Augusta University Office of Advancement, 1120 15th St. Augusta, GA 30912.

What joy it was to hear my Aunt's voice. She was a most wonderful sister, wife, and mother. Always a kind word to say. She will always be a special spirit to guide me. Grandpa Fullerton, knew his little girl would be the perfect daughter.

MY CONDOLENCES TO ELLEN'S FAMILY DURING THESE DIFFICULT DAYS!!! I MET HER AND DR DELLA YRS AGO THROUGH A MUTUAL FRIEND. WHAT A WONDERFUL FAMILY!!! ELLEN, DR. DELLA AND CATHERINE ADDED SO MUCH TO THE AUGUSTA AREA. SHE IS IN A WONDERFUL PLACE BACK WITH DR DELLA.
