Emily Roberson Obituary
Emily was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a student at Georgia College and State University, where she was a Young Life leader who loved the Lord. She attended Augusta Christian Schools where she played basketball, soccer, and cheered. Emily loves her family and friends fiercely. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Family members, in addition to her parents, include her siblings: Tyler Patrick Roberson (fiance Hannah Wyatt), Caroline Ramey Roberson, and Samuel Clifford Roberson; paternal grandparents: Willis "Wit" and Joan Roberson; maternal grandparents: Rebecca A. Escoe and the late Doug Escoe; aunt: Lynn Roberson Brantley (David) and their children: Will (Jenny and children: Charlotte Ann, Wit, and Claire), Scott (Melissa) Chadwick Brantley (Lucy and son Wick) and Ashton; uncle: Willis F. Roberson, III ("Robbie") and his children: Kaitlin Cameron Roberson, Parker Kelly Roberson, and Lauren Taylor Roberson; aunt: Susan Roberson Spratling (John) and their children: Willis Turner Spratling, Mason Wesley Spratling, Ivy Lynn Spratling; and Liza Dell Spratling; aunt: Patti Escoe Baldwin and her child: Ansley; great aunts: Hilda T. Kohn, Margie Reints (Jim), Bobbie Griffin, Linda Palmer and Cathy Grier.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Worship Center at Warren Baptist Church with Rev. David Dillard and Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Spratling, David Brantley, Robbie Roberson, Mason Spratling, Turner Spratling, Ashton Brantley, Chad Brantley, Will Brantley, and Scott Brantley.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the church.

My prayers are with you. I was on the mission trip with your wonderful daughter Caroline and shared her grief when we heard the news. I am sure Emily was as special as Caroline. She kept stressing how great and special her parents are. I pray God will give you peace.
