Fay Kelley Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Platt's Funeral Home Crawford Avenue Chapel with Dr. Jody Alderman and Dr. Buddy Holbrook officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of St. John United Methodist Church of Augusta and a member of the Minter Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Master City Squares and the Load the Boaters Square Dance Club. She had been a volunteer at University Hospital for over 20 years and accumulated more than 25 hundred service hours.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Larry Kelley of Jackson, SC, two brothers, Frank Thompson of Lakeview, TX and Joe Thompson of Kaufman, TX and a sister, Mary Johnson of Amarillo, TX as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the time of services at Platt's Crawford Avenue.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Molly's Militia, P.O. Box 6816, North Augusta, SC 29861.

Fay was a beautiful lady who knew how to have a good time. She was a wonderful sister-in-law. We will miss her and all her funny stories . She lived life to the fullest and was a joy to be around.
