To the Screws Family,
I cannot tell you how sorry I am of your loss. I too have had to see my mother lose her husband as well as myself and my siblings lose our father. My heart breaks for all of you. I have known Roger and Christine for a great many years and love them and their children. I had on a couple of occasions talked to Rogers mother and father, They are very good people. I remember one time F.L. saved me from their crazy dog,and for that I was always grateful.. He seemed like a wonderful man. I have heard a number of stories from Christine about her father in law and they were all good stories. I am truly sorry for the loss and want you all to know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. Vera I have seen my mother go thru what you are about to go thru. Just know that it is not easy but the love of your children will see you thru this.. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

A daddy is many different things, but to me,my daddy is my best friend. There will never be a day that goes by that i will not think of him,and miss him.I always wanted to tell daddy that i loved him,but for a son ,it's kind of hard to say things like that. Before he passed away i was able to tell him how much i loved him, which was hard to do.The hardest thing to do, was watch him pass. When i went home ,i grabed my son(15) with a big hug and told him how much i loved him.I love you daddy, and i miss you so much.My prayer is that one day we will be together again.

Dear Vera, Bobby, Roger and Susan,

I just found out about uncle F.L.'s passing. I will not be able to be at the funeral, but I will be thinking of all of you tomorrow.

I loved Uncle F.L. so much and took the opportunity to tell him that when uncle Thomas died. He was so good to me when I was little. He brought a kimono from Korea to me when I was about 4 or 5 years old. When Barry and I had our daughter Jennifer, Vera and uncle F.L. gave us a baby bed. Those are things you never forget.

I know you are going to miss him terribly. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Caroline (Youngblood) Weatherly

Roger,Susan,Bobby and Aunt Vera,
Uncle F.l. held a special place in my heart as he always had. Although that rough and tough persona he had at times made you afraid of him, he always showed me and my children that sweet tender hearted side, you know that little twinkle from his eyes as he smiled and gently hugged you. Wal-mart will never be the same,as you see that was were we would often see each other. My life and heart will always be filled with special memories from our Uncle F.L. With all our love,Carrel-lee, Jerry and Family.
