Gary Graham Obituary

AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Gary Lee Graham, Jr., 18, of Mixon Rd., Aiken, died Friday, March 18, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday at Cedar Creek Church. Rev. Richard Swift will officiate. Interment will follow in Historic Bethany Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Aiken, Gary was employed with G.L. Graham Petroleum Pump and Sales, Inc/Loyalty Petroleum Transport/APC in Aiken for a number of years as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He loved to farm, hunt and fish. He was well loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Gary L. and Edie McLaughlin Graham, Sr.; sisters, Joanne (Henry) Wright, Dollie Graham and Loretta Graham; brothers, John (Michelle Goldman) Gray, and Jim E. Gray, Jr.; nieces, Kerstin Wright and Shelby Gray; nephews, Joseph Wright, William Wright and Paul Cannon Gray, all of Aiken; paternal grandparents, Vivia Graham and Bill McFadden of Aiken; maternal grandmother, Florence McLaughlin, Palmbay, FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his fiancŽ Amber Boyd. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph L. Graham; and maternal grandfather, Clifford W. McLaughlin. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Creek Church, 3001 Banks Mill Rd., Aiken, SC 29803. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bracco, Benjamin E. Lamb, Joseph D. Graham, Joshua Barton, Cameron Kneece, Roy Craig, Curtis Canty, Jr., and Rainey Higginbottom, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel Lucky Gray, James and Kevin West, Nicholas Craig, Jeff Stodghill, Justin Johnson, Tracy Wood, Leonard Leake, Marion Gibson, Guy Snell, Gregory Mabeley, Kenny Roe, William Best, Scott Meador and George Q. Thompson, and the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
