Gerald was my pitching companion for four years at Hephzibah High School. We together did a lot of good things with our teammates and coaches. Gerald was by far the quietest warrior I ever played sports with. He now has been given his greatest reward with our heavenly father and to his family and Mr. and Mrs. Stanford go my prayers and deepest heart felt sympathy.
Godspeed

Gerald and I played ball together at Hillcrest Church in the 1950s. He could pitch right or left-handed! I remember riding in his parents' pretty new Ford and admiring his fine family. I did not see him again for 45 years or so. Then he joined some of us for senior volleyball and we renewed our friendship. I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing and pray God will comfort his family at the loss of this good man.

Stanford Family,
The Schlein family sends our heart felt sympathy and condolences to your family.
Attending school with Gerald along with playing sports with him, only leaves me of fond memories, not just for those years, but there after.
Gerald exemplified sportsmanship on and off the field, as did his fine mother & father, from which, always attended the games.
"God Bless This Family!"
