Greg is truly what Legends are made from. Greg spoke his mind, and stood his ground, no matter what force he faced. His end reminded us the entire Life of Greg. He was a man that spoke with actions, his actions told us who and what Greg was made of, Brave, Kind, A Godly Man, that put strangers first when he wore his badge, Family when he was home. I m thankful that I had the honor of Knowing Greg, May God Give Your Family Comfort and Hold You in His Arms, Rest My Friend. We know you will be standing on the Other Side of The Rainbow Bridge waiting for us one day...

As a Parole Officer, I first met Greg in the mid 90s. Greg along with other RCSO guys allowed me into their world. Working relationships and friendships were forged. As a Law Enforcement Officer Greg had been there and done that. I'm not at all bashful to say I admired him and respected him. Greg was the epitome of brave, level headed, gracious and unassuming while maintaining such a commanding presence. It's been said and written so many times thus far but it can't be stated or written enough. Greg Meagher was a TRUE HERO, a COP'S COP'S, a MAN'S MAN and a GREAT AMERICAN... Slan leat

Sgt. Meagher, "Gentle Giant", my nickname for him, and his family are definitely in my prayers. I can remember at times when I would be running low on units and Sgt. Meagher, without any hesitation, would take any call I needed a unit to go to. It was always a pleasure to work with him and he was always pleasant and very nice over the radio. It's always a good thing when you can work with positive people with positive attitudes and good hearts and that's exactly how Sgt. Meagher was. May God bless him and his family.
