Harold Clark

WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Harold Richardson Clark, age 90, of Warrenville, S.C., son of the late Robert D. and the late Jennie Richardson Clark, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 29th. He was the husband of the late Betty Hair Clark whom he married after the passing of his wife, Virginia. Harold, an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII, also worked to win the Cold War. He was a retiree of SRS, where he was a welder. Before moving his membership to Gloverville First Baptist Church, he was instrumental in the building of Southside Baptist Church. Harold loved music and once served as the music director there. Harold also loved to build; a trade he learned from his father. He is survived by a loving family of nieces, nephews, a stepson, Johnny Lloyd (Tracy) Bishop; a stepdaughter, Glenda (Rodney) Huckabee, and affectionately called Grand Pa or Pa by his step grand and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Gloverville First Baptist Church in Gloverville this Monday evening, December 2nd from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service celebrating his life and home going will be held at the church on Tuesday, December 3rd at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Napier and Rev. Aaron Deer officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. The pallbearers will be Jessie Bishop, Joey Huckabee, Tim Gibson, Jim Corley, Al Norris and Tommy Proctor.
