Harold Leverett Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Trinity Hospital, Mr. Harold Leverett, Sr., of Sprucewood Drive. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 12:00 noon from Rock of Ages Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Leon H. Williams officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Mr. Leverett was a devoted member of Rock of Ages Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, where he served as Male Chorus president, Trustee Board and Lay leader. Survivors are wife, Alma F. Leverett; two sons, Christopher Leverett and Harold Leverett Jr.; three daughters-in-law, Marcia Leverett, Angela Leverett and Mialashun Leverett; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Thomas Leverett and Samuel Leverett; two sisters, Carolyn Young and Barbra Leverett; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
