Harry Gill Obituary

Retired THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Harry Deal Gill, 77, of Thomson, entered into rest April 26, 2005 at Thomson Manor. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Kenny Gill. Mr. Gill was born in Coffee County, GA, but lived in McDuffie Conty, GA for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late John F. Gill and the late Gussie Lee Gill. Mr. Gill was also retired as a Serviceman from National Homes and was a Baptist. Survivors include son, Harry Gill, Dearing, GA; four daughters, Jeanette Labruyere, Thomson, Geneva Smallwood, Warrenton, GA, Gloria Lord and Sara Chrnalogar, both of Winder, GA; three brothers, Jimmy Gill, Valdosta, GA, Sambo Gill and Billy Gill, both of Calahan, Fla.; sister, Helen Hunter, Savannah, GA; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Beggs Funeral Home Calahan with Rev. Boyd Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Friend s may call at the residence of Geneva Smallwood, 10371 Wiggins Rd., Warrenton, GA or following the service at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA 706-595-4100.
