Henry Haynes Hudson

JACKSON, S.C. - Entered into rest August 19, 2006 at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, Mr. Henry Haynes Hudson, husband of Virginia Stallings Ciechan, of Stallings Rd., Jackson, S.C. Graveside services will be held today at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Cemetery with military honors accorded at the graveside. The Rev. Dr. Joseph T. Lusk will officiate. Mr. Hudson had lived in the Augusta area since the 1960's, and was a retired cabinet maker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U. S. Air Force, having serving in the Korean War. He was a life member of VFW Post 3200 where he served as service officer and he was a volunteer at the Blue Goose. He had a lifetime interest in restoring old cars and antiques, and he loved pets. Additional survivors include his son, Jackie Hudson of Dublin, GA, his daughter, Lori Rhodes of Dawsonville, GA, and two sisters and their husbands, Judy and Earl Bush, Atlanta, GA, and Marjorie and John Fant, Orangeburg, SC.
