Henry had a huge impact on my life and I will miss him. He was a kind, gentle soul who was generous with his knowledge and time. His talent with wood crafted pieces of furniture will live on when children play at the table and benches he made for my daughter, and when her toybox is passed on to another child. His dedication to rebuilding old cars brought them a second life. His love of good jokes and mischief was shared with my brother Lewis in so many ways. No road was to long for him to travel for a good seafood meal. Through Henry my family got to experience trips to an aircraft carrier, a submarine, an airplane museum, an extended trip in a converted bus/camper throughout the southeastern U.S., to Clark Hill for fun on the boat and to the beach. His heart was huge and he has left a legacy.
