Hubert Brown Lucky

BEAUFORT, S.C. - Mrs. Hubert Marie Brown Lucky of Beaufort, S.C. died Sunday, December 26, 2004. Funeral will be conducted at Grace A.M.E. Church in Beaufort, S.C., Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Noon. Mrs. Lucky was formerly a native of Wrens, Jefferson County, Ga. and a member of Wrens Chapel A.M.E. Church, Wrens Ga. She graduated from Wrens High School. She was a graduate of Dixie School of Nursing in Hampton, Va. and passed the State Board in Virginia as an RN. She was retired after many years in the Nursing profession which included MCG and Veterans Administration in Augusta and in Kentucky. She is survived by her husband John Melvin Lucky. One daughter Lawanna Michelle Lucky of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons Michael and Marcus Lucky of Beaufort, S.C.; two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren; four sisters, Heroline Brown, N.Y., Evelyn F. Lewis, Virginia Beach, Va., Lillian Blaylock, Martinez and Rosalind Fuller of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Te rry Brown of Hephzibah. Freeman Funeral Home, Wrens in charge of local arrangements.
