To the family of Ida Mae Roberson:
I offer my sincere condolesences. I met Ida at church. We usually sat on the same pew. We used to talk each Sunday and we got to know each other's family and share stories about our children, grandchildren, and spouses. Ida was a sweet person that I came to love as a sister. I will miss her because we often talked about the church and she wanted to know how the church was doing. She loved her church and her family. God put special people in our lives for a season and Ida was one of the special people that was in my life for a season. I will miss her kind spirit. To the family be blessed.
A friend,

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Mrs. Ida when she worked at Therm-O-Disc and was carpooling with my mother, Susie Herrin (your neighbor on Senate Drive). She was a wonderful person. Your family will be in my prayers.

To: The Family of the late Ida Stallings Roberson
I was sorry to hear of Ida’s death. I will always remember our days as classmates at Sleepy Hollow Elementary and Jefferson High School.
At times like this when we don’t know what to do
Just talk to God and he will see you through
When words sometimes just won’t do and you don’t know what to say
Just talk to God and let him have his way
When friends and family come and go
Just remember that God has an open door
At times like this when words alone won’t do
May God bless and comfort you
