AS I HAVE LEARNED OF AN ANGEL THAT HAS TAKEN FLIGHT... I A CAN ONLY SMILE ALL OVER. FROM THE DAY I NET HER SHE TOOK ME UNDER HER WINGS AND SHE PROMISED ME THAT I WOULD BE OK... SHE TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF ALL OF HER LOVED ONES... IT DID NOT MATTER THE COLOR OR CREED...YOU BELONG TO HER. I AM SAD IN SPIRIT BUT SHE WOULD WANT ME TO REMEMBER ONE THING SHE TAUGHT ME "TO ALWAYS WALK WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND ALWAYS LOOK UP AND NOT DOWN". JUST A FEW DAYS AGO I HAD A THOUGHT OF HER IN MY HEAD. NOW I WILL ALWAYS HAVE A THOUGHT OF HER IN MY HEAD...I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND TAKE YOUR REST...WE LOVE YOU AND GOD LOVES YOU BEST...

I was so sorry to hear of Ida's passing, and my prayers go out to the family. I never worked at the same school with her but we would meet at the Richmond County Special Education Workshops/meetings. She was always so pleasant and had a kind word for everyone. I know she will be missed, but remember the good times. You now have an angel in heaven watching over you. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was truly sad to learn of the passing of Mrs. Ida Williams. She was one of my mentors when I began teaching. She was very talented in the arts and craft area... always coming up with a unique idea on what gifts the students could make for parents on various holidays. Even when I transferred to another school, I could always call on her for ideas. She called me 'Rita Dita' and I returned with calling her ' Ida Wida'. To the Williams family, I know she will be missed, and I will keep you in my prayers. I will always think of her with fond memories.

I AM DEEPLY SADDENED TO HEAR OF IDA.S PASSING. WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL. I WAS DEEPLY TOUCHED A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN SHE CALLED ME LOOKING FOR SHEET MUSIC THAT SHE NEEDED FOR A PROGRAM AT HER CHURCH. OF COURSE I WENT RIGHT OUT AND MAILED IT TOO HER. WE SHARED MANY HAPPY TIMES TOGETHER AND SHE WILL BE MISSED.
