Isaiah Daggett Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Isaiah 'Didee' Daggett of Shirley Ave., who entered into rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in the University Hospital, will be conducted on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from Good Samaritan Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Turner officiating. Funeral processional will leave the residence at 12:15 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. He was a native of Columbia County and retired from the Augusta Water Works Department in 1994. He is survived by four sons, Isaiah Daggett, Jr., New Jersey, Leroy (Nita) Daggett, Don Daggett, Daryl Daggett, all of Augusta; five daughters, Judith Daggett, Cynitha Daggett, Brenda Daggett, Barbara Daggett, all of Augusta, Connie (Ernest) Jackson, Atlanta; one brother, Richard Jackson; four sisters, Annie Mae Luke, Paulette Tate, Columbia Co., Mable Wright, Washington, D.C., Ludell Lanham, Augusta; sisters-in-law, brothers- in-law, an aunt, 39 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon, Monday, until the hour of service and will not be viewed afterward. I am sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Daggett. Just know that you all are in my prayers and remember God knows best. God is a awesome God, just look to Him, because that's where all your help comes from.
