Jacob Berlin Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga.- The Rev. Dr. Jacob Boris Berlin died Saturday, May 29, 2004 in Augusta, Ga. He is survived by his wife, Anne Morris Berlin; his sons, Alexander, Bartlett and Christopher; daughters, Letitia and Deborah and their families. The funeral service will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Reynolds St. in Augusta, on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at 10 a.m., with The Rev. Richard Sanders and The Rev. Billy Alford officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew, Benjamin, Peter and Alan Berlin, Dr. Gary M. Whitford and Maj. Gen. Perry Smith. Graveside services will be at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick, Ga., on Tuesday at 4 p.m., with The Rt. Rev. Henry Louttit, Bishop of The Diocese of Georgia, officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Ft. Stewart U.S. Army Ceremonial Detachment. If so desired, donations may be sent in his honor to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides college funding to the children of Special Op erations soldiers killed in action or training, at P.O. Box 14385, Tampa, Fla. 33690 or via website at www.specialops.org/contribute.asp . Donations may also be sent to the Episcopal Convent of St. Helena at 3042 Eagle Drive, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
