Karen and I are very saddened with the loss of Jim who has been a very dear and true friend of ours for some time. But like Jim we rejoice in the fact that we know Jim is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jim and Carole have raised a wonderful family and had great love for them. We met Jim and Carole through another good friend and first cousin of Jim’s, the late Wheldon Hair, who was another Godly man just like Jim. I know that the Lord brought us together because we became instant friends and Jim has been a real inspiration to us in our spiritual growth. It was through Jim’s testimony that I became much closer to our Lord and he has been a blessing to our lives every since. Not only did Jim know God’s word, he lived it and included God in everything he did. For a man who was not supposed to live one day after his birth, it is obvious God had plans for his life and He used Jim for 76 wonderful years. I know God has identified his hero’s of faith in Hebrews, chapter 11, but I also know that Jim will be included in this list. Like David, Jim was a man who had all the characteristics of a man after God’s heart. He honored God and knew God’s will, and did God’s will.
Jim will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends, but they too rejoice in the fact that they know Jim will be with his Master whom he had great love for and has served Him well.
Jim, we love you, we will miss you and we are happy for you that you have gone to a place that you have looked forward to, to be in the presence of our loving God. Thank you for the wonderful memories you have given to us and we will treasure them always. When you see Wheldon please give him a warm hug for us. We too look forward to the day that we can join you and Wheldon. Your bagels will always have a place in our hearts.

Dear Carole and family,
Tonya and I wanted you to know that you are in our prayers. Jim will be sorely missed but the memory of such a fine dedicated Christian man will live on in our hearts and minds. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you. God bless and sustain you through this difficult time and fill your heart with peace knowing that Jim is in heaven worshipping at the feet of Jesus.

Dear Mrs. Camak, Jody and Roxanne,
Johnny and I are praising with you that Mr. Camak is in the presence of our Lord! He did, indeed, fight the good fight. There is no doubt when he arrived in Heaven, he heard, "Well done, My good and faithful servant!" We are praying for each of you. Even though we rejoice at his homegoing...the coming days for those who are left will be difficult. Please let us know if we can do anything or help in any way.
We love you all,
Johnny and Mary Whittle

Dear Carole & Family,

Words cannot express the meaning of what Jim, Carole & Higher Ground have meant to my life. As a teenager your ministry helped to transform my life and give me illumination for the journey into Christian adulthood. Jim's influence as a godly "spiritual father" alongside Carole's wise teaching and "spiritual motherhood" have been such a blessing to me. I praise God so much for bringing the Camaks into my life to prayerfully encourage me to keep striving to stay on the path of holiness.

Thank you so much for being faithful servants for the Lord's kingdom these 30 plus years. I will greatly miss Jim, but I am so grateful for the wonderful hope of being reunited eternally in the Heavenly Home we will all share as believers in our precious Lord!!!

May the Lord tremendously bless all of you and give you grace as you adjust to life without Jim here. Our love and prayers are with you all.
