Jared Woodruff

Student THOMSON, Ga. - Jared Wade Woodruff, 16 of Stagecoach Road entered into rest July 20, 2011. Wade was a a student at Thomson High School and had participated in ROTC. He enjoyed all sports and was particularly interested in weightlifting, and liked playing video games. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Wades friends said that he was full of laughter and loved spending time with others. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Jonathon Beckum, Kyle Wallin, Lyle Arrington, Todd Goff, Colby Ellis and Dalton Jones. Survivors include his mother Kelly Story and husband, Tommy, of Thomson and father Junior Woodruff and wife, Kathy, of Savannah, Ga; two brothers Kevin Woodruff, Hephzibah, Ga. and Justin Story, Thomson; a sister, Elizabeth Beckum, also of Thomson; grandparents Mary Woodruff, Hephzibah, GA. and Delsie Story and Tommy Story, of Thomson. Mr. Woodruff was preceded in death by his grandfather Wilford Woody Woodruff. The family will reveive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Beggs Funeral Home.
