Sandra Jean Barksdale Dye, age 70, of Elberton and formerly of Thomson, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Her memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, March 1, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Pearson officiating.
Flowers are accepted. If desired, donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to God’s Marketplace, 729 E. Robert Toombs Avenue, Washington, GA 30673 or to SafeHouse Ministries, Post Office Box 6336, Elberton, GA 30635.
