Dennis Stuart Andrews

Mr. Dennis Stuart Andrews, 74, of Bowman, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.

He was born in Elberton on December 14, 1951, son of the late Henry Taylor “HT” Andrews and Reta Lanell “Nell” Witcher Andrews. Dennis was a brick mason by trade and an avid hunter.

Survivors include his significant other, Mary Ann Collins; sons and daughters-in-law: John and Gara Andrews of Dewy Rose, Jim and Susan Andrews of Dewy Rose, and Jeff and Kaitlin Andrews of Bowman; brother, Melvin Andrews of Bowman; grandchildren: Aryssa, Emalise, Ian, Adalyn, and Anna; nephew, Frank Andrews; and great-niece, Carli Andrews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Andrews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, from 6:30p.m. until 8:30p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be conducted on Friday, February 20, at 3:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Paramore officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
