Jewel Slotin Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Robert Lehn officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Slotin is survived by her daughter, Brenda Dansby (Steve Neuhaus), her brother, James Albert Kelley, Jr (Peggy), her grandchildren; Scott, Cliff and Jeff Dansby(Jennifer), Nikki Shaw, DeDe Ellis and Kelli Anglin, as well as ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by a daughter in law, Beth Powell. She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Wayne Powell and her sisters; Gertrude Stewart and Mary Martin.
Pallbearers will be Scott, Cliff & Jeff Dansby, Will Neuhaus, Bryan Daniel & Travis Cason
The family would like to thank Pruitt Hospice and Melissa, Marti and Lisa for the care shown to Mrs. Slotin.

Ms. Jewel was like a grandmother to me.. I will miss our laughs and coversations.. She was such an insperation. I will truly miss here.. She brought joy and laughter and always wanted to make sure i was ok if i wasnt there on time. She will always be loved and missed dearly.. Thoughts and prayers.
