Lawrence Ramsey Obituary
Mr. Ramsey was a native of Gaffney, SC, former resident of Augusta, GA, having made North Augusta his home for the past 30 years. He was U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Ramsey was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1197, where he served as president for one year and served on the board of directors for over 20 years. Additionally, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post #205. Mr. Ramsey loved to travel the world with his beloved wife and will be fondly remember for his love of family and his service to others. He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Paula Clavere and Karen Brown.
Survivors include his of 27 years, Judy Ramsey; three granddaughters, Tiffany Clavere, Kailyn Brown, Ramsey Brown; two great-grandsons, Tomas Latislaw, Tyler Latislaw; two nieces and one nephew.
A Vigil Service for the deceased will be held at the funeral home this Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock followed by visitation until 7.
