Lee Cook Obituary
Mr. Cook was a 1985 graduate of T. W. Josey High School and was employed by DART of Augusta for ten years. He was a United States Marine Corp Veterans. He was baptized at Good Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie (Daniel) Harmon; grandchildren, Daniel Harmon, Jr., and Danielle Harmon; seven sisters, Joanne C. (Ronald) Johnson, Sandra Washington, Patricia (Robert) Bell, Carolyn (Alphonza) Washington, Marilyn (Victor, Sr.) Sullivan, Regina (Floyd) Freeman and Audrey (Gassim) Ahmed; five brothers, George (Laverna) Cook, William (Elizabeth) Cook, Willis Bernard (Dorothy Ann) Cook, Kevin Cook and Timothy (Stephanie) Cook; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, 614 West Avenue, North Augusta, SC (803) 279-0026.

Lee was THAT CLASSMATE you'd never ever forget! That infectious smile and sly humor.....almost made him a borderline class clown who would never hurt a soul - lol. I could never imagined him having an enemy in this world.......

My deepest sympathies and condolences are with you as you grieve the loss of Lee Neal. We were classmates at T.W. Josey and all I can ever recall of Lee Neal was his huge smile and even bigger spirit! What a joy it was to know him. I am so sorry that he is no longer among us, but assured that he is in the presence of our Lord.

I remember when Neal was born! Probably because I was in the Cook's home more than my own or as much growing up! This is very hard for me especially since I am not able to be there with my family! I pray that God will ease your pain and remove the pain as quickly as possible! I love each and every one of you! Continue to hold it other up as you have for my entire life! My deepest condolences!!

To the Cook Family I pray for Strength at this time of Sorrow. It was like yesterday that I say Neal at The VA Hospital. Everytime I saw him he was always up beat and with That Smile we also went to Josey as well. When I heard of his passing my Heart Dropped.
