Lois Landis Obituary
Augusta, GA—Mrs. Lois Lane (Elliott) Landis, 93, entered into rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Private graveside services for the family will be held at this time.
Born in Neptune, NJ., she resided in Avon-by-the-Sea NJ. and Shark River Hills, NJ. before moving to Augusta in 1973. They settled in Valley Park where Lois was a member of the Valley Park Gardening Club and Sewing Club. Born with the gift of creativity, her love of painting and creative projects spanned her entire life. She enjoyed many wonderful years with her family and friends in Augusta. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry B. (Hank) Landis, her parents, George F. and Carrie (Vanderhoef) Elliott, and her brother George F. Elliott Jr.. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Lisa Landis of Augusta; her three daughters, and two sons- in-law, Gail and Robert Huss of Shark River Hills, NJ., Joy and Jay Bandini of Hopedale, MA, and Lori Cowden of Augusta; six grandchildren, Chris Nurczyk (Angie), Brooke Ianuario, David Ianuario, Lauren Silva (Diogo), Taylor Cowden (Courtney), Morgan Cowden; and five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Shane, Dylan, Laurianna and Kenna.
