Lucy was of the greatest generation. She came of age in Milan, Italy at the end of World War II. After the war, because she was fluent in three languages, she worked at the Allied Headquarters in Milan, as a Secretary to the General Staff. It was there, after the war, that she met and fell in love with Jim Cline. Lucy married her beloved Jim and they came to the United States together leaving behind family and friends. She worked hard and studied hard and became an American Citizen. Married for 59 years, Lucy and Jim created a wonderful home life and legacy for their family. When they relocated to North Augusta, SC, in 1975, they became members of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Jim and Lucy worked to help build the church. Lucy was blessed with a beautiful voice and joined the church choir, where she often performed as a soloist. More than anything, Lucy was devoted to her family and her grandchildren.
