Maggie Mae Wright Obituary

"Ms. Maggie"
A Wonderful Mother
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Early Wednesday morning, March 27, 2013, God Jehovah sent one of His Sweet Chariots to University Hospital and carried Ms. Maggie to her eternal home. She was born on June 9, 1940, in Quitman, GA. Her doting parents were the late Mrs. Charlie Mae Jackson Stokes and Mr. Nathaniel Stokes, Sr. She lived most of her life in New Jersey and worked in domestic services. Ms. Maggie is survived by two loving sisters, Ms. Rose Lang and Ms. Alma Stokes (New Jersey). Previously, she was married to her first and only love, the late Mr. Cecil McCoy Wright. As a single mother and in a home which reverenced God Jehovah, she raised Ms. Belinda Wright Harrison (Anthony) of Augusta, GA and Mr. Cornelius Wright, Sr. (Debra) of Douglasville, GA. Ms. Maggie was Grandma to three beautiful grandchildren, Mr. Cornelius Wright, Jr., Miss Kiana Harrison and Miss Tiffany Wright. In addition to her immediate family, she was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The wonderful staff at Alma s Personal Care and First Love Personal Care is commended for their dedication and services. Ms. Maggie s favorite book, which she read everyday, was the Bible, and she will be remembered for her fervently sweet prayers. She instilled in her children a love for God Jehovah and leaves to all that knew her a legacy of happiness intermingled with true devotion. Final services for Ms. Maggie will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11 am at The Path Worship Center, 1405 Marks Church Road, Augusta, GA with Dr. Robert L. Williams officiating. Burial site: Westover Memorial Park. Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 1765 Martin Luther King Blvd., Augusta, GA
