Marvin Hall

GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, Mr. Marvin Hall, 65, of 126 Johnson Street, Gloverville. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Mrs. Betty R. Hall, Gloverville; a son, Marvin A. Hall, Batesburg; a daughter, Rebecca Swearingen, Burnettown; three sisters, Laura Memery, Carolyn Stewart and Debra Turbyfill; three brothers, Morris Hall, James Hall and Ricky Hall; three grandchildren, Tabatha, Anthony and Brandon; two great-grandchildren, Duncan and Connor; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hall was born in Emanuel County to the late Lewis and Thelma Hudson Hall. He was a retired truck driver and a "jack of all trades" and was a member and Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1197. He will be remembered for his "off-beat" humor and love for family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Horne and Mr. Lorrin LaPort officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Hall, David Mihoulides, Chris Hall, Thomas Hall, Joey Keenan and Blake Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1197.
